Henry Weatherboard Home Renovation Greensborough
Old Home. New Lease on Life.
Henry is Team Elevate®'s renovation of an established weatherboard home in Greensborough.
For us, there is something particularly rewarding about working with an older home and finding ways to bring it forward without losing the character that made it worth keeping in the first place.
Henry was an opportunity to do exactly that — breathe new life into an existing weatherboard home through a considered renovation sympathetic to its original style.
From the broader renovation through to details such as the window furnishings, the approach was about creating a home that feels refreshed and custom while remaining connected to the character of the property.
Keeping the Character. Changing the Experience.
Renovating an established weatherboard is about more than making everything new. Henry was approached with the character of the existing home in mind, allowing the renovation to feel like an evolution rather than a replacement.
Giving an Old Home a New Lease on Life.
There is plenty worth preserving in Melbourne's established homes. Rather than removing the character that already exists, a considered renovation can refresh how a home looks, feels and functions.
That philosophy shaped the work at Henry. The existing weatherboard provided the foundation, while the renovation introduced a refreshed finish and carefully selected details that complement the home's style.
The aim was not to make Henry feel like a completely different house, but to give the existing home another chapter.
Details That Belong to the Home.
The smaller design decisions can have just as much impact as the larger renovation works, particularly when working with an established weatherboard home.
Materials, finishes and furnishings were selected with the overall style of Henry in mind, helping the new elements sit naturally alongside the character of the existing property.
The result is a renovation where the individual details contribute to one consistent design rather than feeling like additions made in isolation.
Custom Made. For a Custom Home.
In our eyes, plantation shutters are a natural fit for a weatherboard renovation like Henry.
Working closely with Curtain & Blind Co enabled Team Elevate® to nominate our preferred window furnishings while ensuring the final selections remained sympathetic to the style we wanted to achieve.
Rather than treating window furnishings as an afterthought, the plantation shutters form part of the overall design language of the renovation — complementing the weatherboard character while giving the finished interiors a clean, tailored appearance.
It is this attention to the finishing details that helps turn a renovation into a home that feels considered from beginning to end.
Custom made, for a custom home.
Character Retained. A Home Renewed.
Henry represents what we enjoy about renovating established homes — working with what is already there and finding the right way to give it a new lease on life.
From the broader weatherboard renovation through to custom details such as the plantation shutters, each element contributes to a refreshed home that remains sympathetic to its original style.
